Chelation Therapy. Is an intravenous infusion EDTA-Na2 (ethylenediamine tetra-acetic acid) to treat heavy metal poisoning and remove toxic residues or other unwanted substances from the body. It is also especially used to help remove calcified and other mineral deposits in various parts of the body, especially in the arteries, which prevent normal blood flow. Blood carries nutrients and oxygen throughout the body, every organ, tissue and system of our body.
EDTA is critical in treatments to correct circulatory disorders. While other herbs, vitamins, minerals and amino acids may help contribute to a healthy cardiovascular system, it is always the EDTA that makes any chelation process successful. When metals and minerals remain in the bloodstream, they accumulate and harden, within the blood vessel (arteries) causing an atheromatous plaque with which circulatory insufficiency occurs. EDTA travels the bloodstream for a few minutes and begins to chelate or “pinch” the toxic heavy metals, along with excessive mineral deposits, cleansing the arteries of the body, and increasing blood flow. These wastes are eliminated renally with urine.
