Stem Cells
ABOUT
Stem cells are part of all tissues; they maintain the precise number of cells in a tissue for it to function properly. Not only can they divide, but they also maintain the correct number of themselves (self-renewal).
Stem cells can develop into different types of adult cells that can give rise to other cells and perform specialized functions in the body.
They differ in the source of their extraction and, above all, in their ability to differentiate into all or some cell types in the body.
Reduces the inflammatory process.
Regenerates damaged, deteriorated or injured tissues.
Keeps our body healthy and functional, reducing cellular aging at a general level of the body.
Treatment of a variety of pathologies and/or diseases that aims at the physical and functional restoration of a tissue.
These MSCs, upon entering the body of the sick person, identify lesions in organs and tissues at a distance; this happens through a signaling process released from the injured tissue or organ, regenerating the damage and in turn recovering its function, which allows for an improvement in the prognosis and quality of life of the patient.
Depending on the pathology, it must be determined which of the following administration routes is the most appropriate.
- Intravenous
- Perilesional
- Intra-articular
- Subdermal
Although this is a very low-risk therapy, the following considerations must be taken into account.
